A Complete Detail makes a vehicle clean. Signature is for the case where clean is not the point — where the paint itself is flat, marked or simply not doing what the color should do, and the goal is how the finish looks rather than how dirty it was.
The difference is one step, and it is a real one: a machine polishing stage on the paint, on top of everything the Complete already includes, finished with protection meant to last rather than to get you through the month.
That step is also why this is the one service we sometimes talk people out of. On paint that is in good order, the Complete gets most of the way there for less, and we will say so.
If the paint is sound, the cheaper service is the honest recommendation.

The difference

Not damaged — just dull, with no depth to the color. That is usually light marring plus contamination, and it is exactly what this service is built to address.
How it runs
The paint decides what happens after stage two, which is why the second stage exists at all.
Wheels, foam, hand wash, bugs and tar, iron removal and a clay pass. Everything the Exterior Detail does, because none of the rest can happen on a contaminated surface.
The paint is looked at properly before a machine is picked up. Some panels will take a polish well, some will have been repainted, and some will have defects that a single pass is not going to reach.
If what you are looking at needs correction rather than enhancement, we say so and quote it separately rather than making a single pass do work it cannot do. If the paint does not need it at all, we say that too.

Honestly
A single enhancement pass is a real improvement and it is not a restoration. Anything in the second column is quoted in writing after somebody has looked at your paint.

Clear-coated paint in sound condition. Tell us at booking about a wrap, a matte or satin finish, aftermarket paint or a previous correction — a machine polish is wrong on the first two and needs a paint depth check on the last.

Afterward
Avoid an automatic wash for a few days afterward so it sets undisturbed. Rain is fine; brushes and strong detergent are not.
A friction tunnel puts back exactly the marring that was just polished out. This is the single thing that decides how long the work lasts.
Both eat through protection in one spot and then start on the clear coat. A damp towel and no pressure is all it takes.

Questions
One additional stage on the paint — a machine polishing pass — plus the deeper decontamination it requires and longer-lasting protection on top of it. Everything the Complete includes is still included. It is not the same work done more carefully; the standard of work does not change between services.
No. It is enhancement: a single machine pass that improves gloss and removes the lightest marring. Correction is multiple stages under inspection lighting with paint depth measured as the work goes, aimed at leveling the clear coat to the bottom of its defects. That is quoted separately after somebody has looked at the paint, because two identical cars can need completely different amounts of work.
Not to book it — Signature can be booked online like any other service. What we will do is inspect the paint before the machine stage and tell you honestly what a single pass will and will not reach. If what you want needs correction, we quote that rather than pretending one pass will do it.
Run a fingernail across it. If it glides over, the mark is in the clear coat and the polishing stage will improve it, sometimes substantially. If it catches, it has gone through, and no amount of polishing will fill it — that is a paint repair.
The protection is chosen to hold for a season rather than a month, but how the vehicle is washed matters more than the product. A tunnel wash will put the marring back within a few visits, which is why the aftercare above is not an afterthought.
A coating locks in whatever is underneath it, so the paint has to be right first — which usually means enhancement or correction before any coating is worth applying.
