The standard, not a badge
A guarantee is a sentence. This page is built out of the record.
On every job
Four things always written down
A standard nobody records is just a sentence on a website. These four are on every booking in the system, and you can ask to see yours.
The vehicle as we found it
A walkaround before anything starts, with your detailer photographing the vehicle as part of the job record — including anything already damaged when we arrived.
What was booked, line by line
The service, the condition you described, every add-on you ticked and the time reserved for it. That record is what the invoice has to match.
Anything we changed, and who approved it
A change to the work exists on the booking as its own approved line, or it does not exist at all.
Who did the work
One detailer takes a whole vehicle from start to finish. Nothing is handed over half-finished.
The rule
Nothing is added without a yes
If we open a door and find something that changes the work — a stain that needs extraction, hair bonded into the carpet, a wheel that will not come clean in the time allowed — they stop, tell you what it would cost, and wait. Declining is a normal answer, and we finish what was booked.
This is not goodwill, it is how the system is built: an amount you have not approved cannot be captured against your booking.
Honest limits
What detailing can and cannot fix
Better to know before the appointment than after it. Nobody has ever been pleased to learn this on a driveway.
A detail will do this
- Lift road film, brake dust and bonded contamination out of paint
- Extract stains and the source of an odour from carpet and upholstery
- Remove pet hair woven into carpet and fabric, with the right tools and enough time
- Improve gloss and reduce light swirling with a machine polish
- Leave a sealed finish that stays cleaner for longer and is easier to wash
A detail will not do this
- Reverse a spill that has permanently dyed the fabric it soaked into
- Polish out a scratch deep enough to catch a fingernail — that is correction or refinishing
- Repair cracked or torn leather, split vinyl, or a cigarette burn
- Undo etching that has gone through the clear coat
- Promise how long a sealant lasts, because that depends on how the vehicle is stored and washed
Paint correction and coatings go further than a detail can, and both are quoted after someone has looked at the paint in person. See the services.
If something is wrong
What happens
We have not published a service guarantee, and we are not going to write one here that nobody has committed to. What we can describe is what actually happens.

You tell us, with a photograph
A booking reference and a picture of the problem is everything we need to start.
We read it against the record
What was booked, what we found, what was approved, and the photographs from the day.
We tell you which it is
Something we should have caught, and we put it right. Or something detailing cannot fix — and we say so rather than take money for work that will not deliver.
When a standard is published it will appear on this page with its real terms, and it will apply to bookings made from that day.
What we have committed to
- Changing or canceling
- Reschedule or cancel free up to 24 hours before your arrival window. Inside that window a $25 late change fee applies.
The full terms are on the terms of service page, and changes and cancellations have a page of their own.
